Our Commitment

ChemAI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards to guarantee we provide equal access to all users.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

ChemAI is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Accessibility Features

We have implemented the following accessibility features on our platform:

Known Limitations

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of ChemAI, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations:

  • AI Chat Interface: Some dynamic content generated by our AI may not immediately announce to screen readers. We are working to improve this.
  • Chemical Formulas: Complex chemical formulas may not be fully accessible to screen readers. We provide text alternatives where possible.
  • Third-Party Content: Some embedded content from third-party suppliers may not meet all accessibility standards.
